Objective 

Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF) training under the Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) is to equip seafarers with the necessary skills and knowledge to prevent fires onboard ships and to respond effectively in case a fire occurs.

Understanding the fire triangle and types of fires. 

Fire prevention measures. 

Use of fire-fighting equipment such as extinguishers, hoses, and breathing apparatus. 

Practical exercises in fighting fires in different scenarios. 

Procedures for evacuating a smoke-filled environment.
